You will provide practical feedback that helps train AI systems. The work involves interpreting technical drawings and field plans, checking documentation, and explaining how plans should work in real shop, field, construction, mining, or fire-safety settings.

  • Review advanced machining drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing specifications.
  • Analyze CNC setup and programming documents for good practices and troubleshooting concerns.
  • Evaluate construction plan sheets for missing details, potential problems, and clearer presentation.
  • Interpret drilling and mine plans for accuracy, feasibility, and regulatory considerations.
  • Review fire and building plans with attention to safety and compliance.
  • Explain technical concepts, drawing interpretations, and real-world implementation in clear written and spoken language.
  • Ground AI training outputs in authentic shop, field, construction, mining, or fire-safety practices.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. The listing is marked entry level, but the work requires substantial professional experience and strong independent judgment.

  • Pay: $55-$100 per hour.
  • Time: 20 or more hours per week.
  • Work setup: Remote.
  • Location: Available in the listed countries; US-based candidates are preferred.
  • Language: English.
  • Experience: At least 10 years as a master machinist, construction superintendent, drilling engineer, mine planner, cabinetmaker, or fire officer.
  • Required knowledge: Technical drawings and field plans, CNC programming, machining processes, and GD&T application.
  • Required knowledge: US construction, fire, or mining codes and standards.
  • Required ability: Explain complex shop or field situations clearly in writing and conversation.
