ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB Engineer – Endpoint Data

<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>The <em>ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB Engineer – Endpoint Data</em> will lead enterprise endpoint data integration and inventory management across Microsoft Intune, ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB, and endpoint security/telemetry platforms.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote (occasional travel to N/E Toronto office may be required)</p><p><strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 12 Months (strong chance of extension)</p><p><br></p><p>The role will improve endpoint inventory accuracy, automate asset lifecycle processes, strengthen data governance and audit readiness, and enable trusted reporting across physical and virtual devices. A key priority is the development of an <strong>enterprise AI asset inventory</strong>, including AI agents, copilots, models, and AI-enabled solutions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Selection Criteria </strong><em>(CVs will be screen based on the following experience):</em></p><ol><li><strong>ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB + Microsoft Intune</strong> expertise.</li><li>Strong <strong>endpoint inventory and asset lifecycle management</strong> experience.</li><li>Proven ability to build <strong>data integrations, pipelines, APIs, and automation</strong>.</li><li>Strong <strong>data quality and governance</strong> capabilities.</li><li>Experience improving <strong>inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting</strong>.</li><li>Ability to lead/coordinate technical initiatives and turn requirements into <strong>actions and timelines</strong>.</li><li>Exposure to <strong>AI asset inventory / AI Agent Registry</strong> initiatives — particularly <strong>Agent 365 or similar solutions</strong> is a major plus.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Must-Have Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years in data engineering, endpoint management, IT asset management, CMDB, or enterprise systems integration.</li><li>Strong ServiceNow ITAM and CMDB experience.</li><li>Strong Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management experience.</li><li>Experience with endpoint inventory and asset lifecycle management.</li><li>Strong data integration experience, including APIs, data pipelines, automation, and system-to-system integrations.</li><li>Experience with data quality, reconciliation, governance, and Critical Data Elements.</li><li>Strong SQL and data analysis skills.</li><li>Ability to translate technical requirements into deliverables, timelines, and business outcomes.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management experience in a large enterprise environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with AI asset inventories, AI Agent Registries, Microsoft Agent 365, or similar AI inventory/governance solutions.</li><li>Experience with Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Logic Apps, or Power Automate.</li><li>Experience with Windows 365, AVD/WVD, VDI, or other virtual desktop environments.</li><li>Experience in a financial institution or highly regulated environment.</li><li>ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB certification or Microsoft Intune certification.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Own endpoint data integration and ensure accurate, complete, and synchronized device data across Intune, ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB, and related platforms.</li><li>Design and support data pipelines, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows for endpoint inventory and lifecycle management.</li><li>Improve data quality through validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and remediation.</li><li>Support automated asset lifecycle processes including provisioning, refresh, aging, retirement, and decommissioning.</li><li>Define and align Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data standards, ownership, and lifecycle attributes with ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB.</li><li>Enable reliable reporting, dashboards, and analytics for endpoint assets, compliance, utilization, and lifecycle status.</li><li>Support inventory across physical and virtual environments, including Windows 365, AVD/WVD, VDI, and Microsoft Managed Desktop.</li><li>Partner with ITAM, ServiceNow, Cyber Security, Data Governance, End User Computing, and other stakeholders to improve asset governance and data quality.</li><li>Support the development of the AI Asset Inventory / AI Agent Registry, defining inventory scope, metadata, ownership, risk classification, and lifecycle requirements.</li><li>Translate technical requirements into actionable deliverables, timelines, and implementation plans.</li></ul><p><br></p>
