<p>Senior Software Developer – SAP S/4HANA Finance</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto or Winnipeg</p><p><strong>Level:</strong> Senior – 10+ years SAP development experience</p><p>The Role</p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior SAP Software Developer</strong> to support and enhance enterprise SAP Finance solutions while contributing to an <strong>ECC to S/4HANA migration</strong> and the continued adoption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).</p><p>This role combines deep <strong>ABAP development expertise</strong> with modern SAP cloud, integration and extension technologies.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Maintain and enhance ABAP solutions across <strong>SAP Finance and Payroll</strong>, including FI, CO, AP, AR and MM.</li><li>Support <strong>ECC to S/4HANA migration</strong>, including legacy code refactoring and adaptation to new data models.</li><li>Develop solutions using <strong>SAP BTP and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)</strong>.</li><li>Build and support solutions utilizing CAP, RAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS views and OData services.</li><li>Support SAP Integration Suite and integrations between SAP and external platforms, including ECC and SAP SuccessFactors.</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, integrations and data flows.</li><li>Develop side-by-side extensions and automation while supporting <strong>clean-core principles</strong>.</li><li>Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing and deployment.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.</li></ul><p>Required Skills</p><ul><li><strong>10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience</strong>, including reports, enhancements, interfaces and forms.</li><li>Strong <strong>SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance</strong> knowledge.</li><li>Proven experience with <strong>ECC to S/4HANA migration projects</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on <strong>SAP BTP</strong> experience, including application development, extensions and integration services.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Fiori/UI5, CDS views and OData services</strong>.</li><li>Understanding of <strong>clean-core architecture and BTP extension patterns</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on <strong>SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)</strong> experience, including data integration, modelling, governance and analytics enablement.</li><li>Experience with performance tuning, debugging and integration monitoring.</li><li>Strong understanding of SAP development lifecycle, transport management and version control.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills.</li></ul><p>Nice to Have</p><ul><li>SAP Concur or SWIFT integration experience.</li><li>SAP SuccessFactors integration experience.</li><li>Agile and DevOps exposure.</li><li>Financial services or wealth management experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Note: We use AI tools to: obtain basic information, detect plagiarism, false employment history or references, categorize your skills, and do an initial match with job posting.</p><p><br></p>
