Are you an experienced Construction Project Coordinator ready for more ownership and broader exposure?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator, looking to step up with strong construction and development experience who wants to expand their exposure working for the owner/developer
Ideally, you'll come from a Construction Management firm or self-performing developer, with hands-on experience delivering multifamily rental apartment or condominium projects. You'll already understand the construction side and be ready for a role that gives you greater involvement in pre-construction, procurement, approvals and development.
Joining an established real estate owner and developer, you'll work closely with senior Development and Project Management professionals and gain exposure to the decisions that drive projects from early stages through construction and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, reporting and key deliverables.

  • Track project financials including contracts, committed costs, change orders and invoicing.

  • Coordinate consultant and Construction Management RFPs, tenders and bid comparisons.

  • Support projects throughout pre-construction and active construction.

  • Work closely with Construction Managers to review schedules, procurement, costs, risks and overall project execution.

  • Coordinate consultants, project meetings, documentation and communications.

  • Proactively identify potential issues and help drive solutions before they impact cost, schedule or quality.

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator with a strong understanding of the construction process and the confidence to take on greater responsibility.
Highrise residential construction experience is essential, ideally gained on rental apartment and/or condominium projects.
You'll ideally bring:

  • 3+ years of relevant construction/project coordination experience.

  • Experience working for a Construction Manager, General Contractor or self-performing developer.

  • Strong knowledge of multifamily residential construction.

  • Good understanding of pre-construction, tendering, procurement and active construction.

  • Ability to read and understand architectural, civil and construction drawings.

  • Experience with project schedules, cost tracking, change orders and tender reviews.

  • Knowledge of municipal construction approvals would be an asset.

The Package

  • $80,000–$100,000 base salary, dependent on experience

  • Bonus opportunity up to 30%

  • 3 weeks' vacation

  • 10 personal days

  • Exposure across both Construction & Development

  • Opportunity to work closely with senior-level decision makers

Why Make the Move?

If you've built a strong foundation in construction coordination but don't want to remain in a traditional Coordinator role, this is an opportunity to broaden your skill set and your career path.
You'll retain the hands-on construction exposure you've developed while gaining valuable experience across development, approvals, pre-construction, procurement and project delivery.
For an ambitious Senior Coordinator, it's a chance to see more of the overall development process, take on greater ownership and position yourself for the next stage of your career.
