<p>Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is looking for a <strong>Senior French Content Editor</strong> to support digital marketing campaign teams. This role will coordinate translation activities, review and edit French content, and ensure high-quality, accurate, and culturally appropriate content across digital and public-facing channels.</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> 6 Months</p><p><strong>Extension:</strong> Potential</p><p><strong>Hybrid:</strong> 1 day per week onsite; remote candidates outside the local area may be considered</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 5–10 years</p><p><strong>Start:</strong> ASAP</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate translation requests with external translation agencies and vendors.</li><li>Review, edit, and proofread English-to-French marketing content for digital platforms.</li><li>Ensure French content meets organizational editorial standards, grammar, tone, consistency, and accuracy requirements.</li><li>Apply <strong>French-Canadian linguistic and cultural nuances</strong> to digital and marketing content.</li><li>Maintain and contribute to French editorial standards and terminology.</li><li>Support content across websites, mobile applications, online banking, and other digital channels.</li><li>Ensure content follows accessibility and SEO best practices.</li><li>Manage multiple translation and editorial requests while meeting tight deadlines.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders in an Agile environment.</li><li>Occasionally perform direct translation when required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Must-Have Skills</strong></p><ul><li><strong>5–10 years</strong> of experience in editorial and translation roles within structured environments.</li><li>Extensive experience as a <strong>French Content Editor</strong>, particularly with digital marketing or public-facing content.</li><li>Native-level French and strong English proficiency.</li><li>Degree in <strong>Translation</strong> or equivalent experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>French-Canadian linguistic and cultural requirements</strong>.</li><li>Experience coordinating translation projects and working with external translation agencies.</li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>Trados Studio, MemoQ, and CAT tools</strong>.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>OQLF standards</strong>.</li><li>Experience using terminology and language resources such as <strong>Termium, Le GDT, Antidote</strong>, and terminology databases.</li><li>Digital marketing/content environment experience.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Digital platform experience.</li><li>Banking/financial services experience.</li><li>Strong experience with Trados and MemoQ.</li><li>SEO and accessibility experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are interested & qualified for this opportunity, please send your updated resume in MS Word format to fouzan@ifgpr.com</p><p>For other opportunities please visit <u> today!</p>
