Process Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Industrial Engineer to join their team in Markham, Ontario . This role focuses on the analysis, design, and optimization of manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. You will work closely with production teams, management, and other engineering disciplines to implement solutions and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing production processes to identify areas for improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings. Design, develop, and implement new processes and workflows using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Conduct time and motion studies, capacity planning, and workflow optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of process changes and new equipment. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials. Collect, analyze, and report on production data and key performance indicators (KPIs). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role. Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques. Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, simulation software).
