About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and diligent Junior Plumber Apprentice to join their skilled trades team in Markham, Ontario . This role provides an excellent pathway for individuals aspiring to become licensed plumbers. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning all aspects of plumbing systems, from installation to repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a genuine interest in mastering the plumbing trade through hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities Assist licensed plumbers in the installation and repair of water, drainage, and gas systems. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing codes. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Perform basic tasks such as cutting pipes, fitting components, and assisting with inspections. Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Follow all safety procedures and company policies meticulously. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. A strong desire to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a career as a licensed plumber. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and follow directions. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces.
