Hot Line Cook

BlueBlood Steakhouse at Casa Loma is actively looking for reliable, efficient and highly motivated individual to hire as Hot Line Cook to join our growing team. We are looking for industry professional- willing to learn, train and work hard every day.

  • Work efficiently on the hot line, with a focus on the sauté station.
  • Cook proteins such as meat, poultry, and fish to the correct temperatures and desired levels of doneness.
  • Execute menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Prepare daily mise en place and maintain station readiness
  • Follow recipes, plating standards, and culinary procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
  • Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining quality
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen team members
  • Support overall kitchen operations and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ culinary experience in a fine-dining restaurant
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Strong knowledge of professional kitchen operations and cooking techniques
  • Ability to execute dishes with accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and professionalism
  • Passion for hospitality and commitment to culinary excellence
