<strong>Résumé du travail<br><br></strong>The Crew Scheduling position is responsible for the staffing of pilots and cabin crew for all Porter flights, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.<br><br><strong>Devoirs et responsabilités<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensure timely staffing of pairings according to company needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures (FOAG) and government regulations (CARs)</li><li>Monitor Porter’s daily schedule for potential crewing issues and address any concerns</li><li>Provide timely and courteous communication with crew as required for assignments and re-assignments</li><li>Monitor and issue book-off and CTT reports</li><li>Assist in overseeing ‘month of’ execution of pilot line training plan and make adjustments to the training plan as necessary</li><li>Review credit requests and action credit adjustments as necessary</li><li>Arrange hotels and transportation for crew members</li><li>Arrange crew reservations for deadheads</li><li>Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Crew Scheduling and the Manager, Crew Scheduling<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compétences comportementales<br><br></strong><ul><li>Concern for Safety: Identifying hazardous or potentially hazardous situations and taking appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for self and others.</li><li>Teamwork: Working collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals.</li><li>Passenger/Customer Service: Providing service excellence to internal and/or external customers (passengers).</li><li>Initiative: Dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise.</li><li>Results Focus: Focusing efforts on achieving high quality results consistent with the organization’s standards.</li><li>Fostering Communication: Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize</li><li>Quick learner and ability to be assertive</li><li>Team player</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language</li><li>Understanding flight crew working environment</li><li>Dependability (must have a clear attendance record and reliable on-time reporting for work)</li><li>Must be available for shift work which includes overnights, weekends and holidays</li><li>Able to work 12-hour shifts</li><li>Fluent with many different forms of computer software including, Microsoft Office and Google Suite</li><li>Ability to obtain necessary security clearances</li><li>Post secondary education in Aviation is an asset</li><li>Previous airline operational experience is an asset</li><li>Familiarity with Navblue N-OC is an asset<br><br></li></ul><strong>Description De L'entreprise<br><br></strong>Depuis 2006, Porter Airlines améliore l’expérience en classe économique pour chaque passager en s’assurant d’offrir un accueil chaleureux misant sur le style, l’attention et le charme.
