CNC Machinist<br><br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Contractor<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Remote<br><br><strong>Job Overview<br><br></strong>We are seeking experienced <strong>CNC Machinists</strong> to support a project focused on advanced part production and process optimization. You will provide expertise in CNC machine setup, operation, precision measurement, blueprint interpretation, and machining troubleshooting.<br><br><strong>No Prior AI Experience Is Required.<br><br></strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Set up and operate hobbyist and industrial CNC machines, including Haas systems. </li><li>Load and verify CNC programs, install tooling, configure work-holding, and set work offsets. </li><li>Run first-piece inspections and adjust setups for dimensional accuracy. </li><li>Troubleshoot issues such as tool wear, chatter, and dimensional variation. </li><li>Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and CMMs for precision inspection. </li><li>Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation. </li><li>Provide feedback on machining processes, setups, and manufacturability. </li><li>Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe workspace. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in setup and production. </li><li>Strong experience with Haas CNC controls, including VF-series machines. </li><li>Familiarity with hobbyist CNC platforms such as Makera Carvera preferred. </li><li>Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. </li><li>Experience with precision measurement tools. </li><li>Experience machining various metals and plastics. </li><li>Strong troubleshooting and process optimization skills. </li><li>Good written and verbal English communication skills.</li></ul>
